Magnetic Therapy
Magnetic Therapy is one of the oldest established therapies and at the same time one of the newest. Magnetic and magnetism have fascinated people from ancient China through the eras of the Vikings, through the first Elizabethan age right up to the present time.
Magnetic Therapy is expanding both its scope, through Trans Cranial Magnetic Impulse developments, and its acceptance by the public. Magnets ease the flow of both energy and blood. The energy links the spirit, emotions, mind and body to each other. So magnets can act as a signal booster, as used on TV sets when the reception is poor, and can be used for a wide variety of health care problems. Magnetic fields do not weaken or run down ( within normal time spans and conditions), i.e they do not act like a battery, because the energy always returns to within the magnet, the fact that it has affected something whilst on its journey outside the magnet does not change this.
This is unusual even in the natural world but is very useful in Magnetic Therapy. Magnets and items containing magnets have been developed for just about every conceivable therapeutic need, from specific joint support wraps, which contain just the right strength magnets to aid healing, through to devices that fit the nose to reduce snoring. From very attractive jewellery, that is both decorative and beneficial, to high strength “spot” magnets that can be used for specific pain relief and as meridian flow improvers.
Many Natural Therapists regard their intuition as a valuable part of their work. The intuition needs something to translate its choices into the physical world. The intellect is rooted in the physical world; it is a function of the brain and is firmly part of the physical world. So the intellect is a tool that intuition can use, but that intellect must have the knowledge and training; to enable it to be a good tool for intuition.
We are all intuitive but the intuition is based in the ethereal sphere and as such can not “directly” operate in the physical world. The intuition is a guiding force. We need intellectual knowledge and physical movement to turn the guidance into physical reality. It is no good intuitively knowing the car will not start because of fault spark plugs, if you do not know how to change them.
If we could connect with our intuition and recognise the difference between intuitive knowledge and wishful thinking, if we could differentiate between hope and intuition, then we would all be so much better people. We are humans, with the frailties and problems that come with that human ability to enjoy the physical world. We should enjoy life and we should enjoy the physical world we live in.
Our sprit learns from experience, our true selves learn from experiencing the physical reality of life. This is where health care comes in, enabling us to enjoy life. Being in constant pain, being dragged down by emotional or physical exhaustion, prevents us from both enjoyment and from connection to our intuition.
Be happy, be free, be healthy and you will truly experience the lessons of life. This is where magnetic therapy and knowledge come into play. Know how to get the best from magnetic therapy and you can start to free yourself and others. As in all things it is necessary to maintain a balance, the more clever a person is, the greater the consequences of their mistakes. Intellectualism by itself, without intuition, without the control of humility, can be a bad thing.
Creation is always striving for a balance, the maintenance of the natural cycles and natural rhythms. In healing, magnetic therapy provides both the balance and the natural cyclical rhythms that are required. Magnets do not dissipate their influence because they always balance what goes out with what comes back in, they maintain their rhythm and their cycle of activity. If we learn all we can about the body, if we learn all we can about how to use magnetic therapy; then we can allow our intuition to guide that knowledge, to do the most good. It is possible to undertake an on line course in Magnetic Therapy, researched, written, and individually tutored by Peter Rose. One of the main uses for magnet therapy is as“slow release” acupuncture or as an alternative to acupuncture for those who are afraid of needles- and those who dislike the pain of acupuncture.
The study of acupuncture and all the points, is a vastly complex subject and so the course seeks to simplify this and look at some basic ways you can use small magnets stuck to selected points, to improve wellbeing, speed recovery from injury and generally get better quicker. The course does include details of Meridians and their pathways, also an introduction to such concepts as the 5 element theory.
The small magnets commonly available for self help use are Ferrite magnets which are also known as Ceramic magnets and are usually pre set in place on a self adhesive pad. These usually have the north pole uppermost at the time you open the pack.-- that is, it is the north pole that will be in contact with the skin when in use. These can be purchased in a variety of magnetic strengths from 200 to 9000 gauss.
When buying over the counter from chain chemists, It is not always obvious from the packaging, what strength the magnets are and it requires considerable skill and specialised equipment to accurately ascertain what an individual magnets power is. These over the counter magnets do not always say which pole is going to be in contact with the skin. If in doubt ask the supplier or producer.
If buying from a specialised mail order supplier, this should not be a problem at all. Specialised suppliers will have small magnets available in different strengths and with knowledge of which pole is the one to touch the skin, some are even made reversible so the therapist can have a choice for each particular application. The strips or bandages usually contain bonded powdered magnetic iron material in a fabric. These can be pre-formed to fit around a specific joint such as a knee or elbow.
It is possible to buy thumb supports neck and shoulder wraps and even head bands, all of these have magnetised material in them. These are produced in various sizes so ensure you request one that fits you. Magnets are also supplied in other forms, designed to be worn inconspicuously. Necklaces, rings, bracelets and bangles can all be obtained in a huge range of appealing designs. Go to www.magnetictherapy.co.uk to find all you need.
